I really like this. The light is so smooth, like lotion. It lays on her skin like a matte finish. The smoking is caught mid inhale and her comfortable gaze seems interrupted with a question -- a possibility. In the image, her face is twisted but she remains open like a vessel who seeks more than the smoke -- more than a pat response. Maybe it is just a smoking habit to keep the smoke from her eyes... still it is intriguing. Girl with a Pearl Earring ish. A little Vermeer behind the camera.
wow, get Susan to write about your photos and include same in your portfolio! Geez... she has described what you captured so insightfully and beautifully!
